You came to me without my asking and crooked your finger and invited me to try for you. And I went for it because that's what men do when fate or a woman or the brass ring comes their way. They reach their hand out and try for it. And when they are found wanting--as much of the time they are--they feel like they've been made a fool of, but they get over it, and go on with their lives because otherwise nothing would ever happen again.
