Opinion is ego masquerading as thought. Politicians certainly seem to be feeling their oats these days. We are apparently endangered by a savage wilderness of pornography, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and firearms. First one thing and then another seems to get onto their Index Librorum Prohibitorum. Can fat, salt, sugar and caffeine be far behind? Looked at with the proper perspective, everything is bad for you and should be regulated by a benevolent bureaucracy. In return it asks only your soul and liberty. At last, everything not compulsory will be forbidden. If I don't make mistakes, how will I learn? I do not wish to be saved from myself. I prefer to go to Hell in my own way. Where can I buy wooden shoes in bulk?
